Florence Airport (Peretola) is the nearest, around 45 minutes from the Chianti area by car. For some, it may be easier to fly into Bologna or Pisa instead of Florence. Regular shuttles connect these airports to Florence's city center: Appennino Shuttle (Bologna) and Caronna Tour (Pisa).
If you're coming by train, the main station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). From there, it's about a 45-minute drive to Greve in Chianti, either by car, taxi, or regional bus through the hills and vineyards.
