Florence Airport (Peretola) is the nearest, around 45 minutes from the Chianti area by car. For some, it may be easier to fly into Bologna or Pisa instead of Florence. Regular shuttles connect these airports to Florence's city center: Appennino Shuttle and Caronna Tour.
If you're coming by train, the main station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). From there, it's about a 45-minute drive to Greve in Chianti, either by car, taxi, or regional bus through the hills and vineyards.
Taxis and private transfers are available around Greve, though it's best to plan transport in advance, especially in the evening. We'll share more details about group transfers closer to the date.
